Jill Arrington is missing

I saw this blog about Jill Arrington. It mentioned about her living in Beverly Hills and hasn't been in the limelight since 2004. I kept thinking she has worked since but really hasn't. The blog mentioned about leaving ESPN for personal reasons. I remember hearing that she GOT pregnant without getting married. I wonder if she was the first reporter to do that?

Watching her, I liked looking at her but same time was a nuisance to AJC sports because they wanted to make deadline and she seemed to delay it when Verne Lundquist and other CBS broadcasters made this scene of introducing her. It seemed forced instead of "on the flow" reporting. It got better when she was at ESPN. That was true with Erin Andrews when she worked for the Braves. The booth broadcasters weren't happy about the two being bonanza ratings and neither did the fans. It was that obvious.

As a person and a reporter, I thought she knew her stuff but she seemed to want to create this omnisexual impression of being available to everyone (sort of like Amy Grant on the wholesome suburban angle). Bonnie Bernstein? See Alex Hawkins. Melissa Stark created this impression "only dorky white men with a career can have me"; true with most ambitious white females but Melissa Stark pushed that mantra over the top like Hannah Storm (does have Today host ability) and got the player treatment like Bonnie . No. 8 and those like him had the curse of reading minds and purposes. What did that female drill seargeant say about her female recruits and why they were there?

Erin Andrews understood the power of playing the nerd and a whore. That is essentially what America men like. Sometimes, you see vice versa of a whore turning into a nerd but that is more in local not national media. They will kill you. When she was with the Braves, she tried to play the dumb whore card but her awkwardness and nerdiness held her down. When she moved to ESPN, she got the rhythm down and hasn't looked back. As for Jill, it was either or and it cost her. Maybe a second chance and add a little more Ashleigh Banfield to her game.

As for me, I like the ones who are attractive to the point of prostitution but don't seem attracted to men. Mary Strong comes to mind; Inga Hammond. Ashleigh and those cigars?

Her father, Rick was a hell of QB in high school. I had a friend who dated him. He could throw from one endzone to another.

For some reason Jill kind of reminds me of Jane Pauley from news. She was the on other side of being conservative with her looks and actions. However, Jane came across as someone who need to be loved by everyone to relieve pain of something. That is why I loved her as well as many others (Meredith Viera sucks) and I could careless if she was smart or dumb. It may result of being bipolar.

I remember when NBC did their anniversary special around the late 80's. You had Jane and some of the cast from the Cosby show. I remember Jane giving a hug to Rudy and there was nothing phony about it.

Now, Erin returned to her nerdy ways. Michelle Beadle is the true "proffesional"
